Lucy recently joined our team from France to complete a month-long immersive internship at Villa Lucero, where she gained concrete experience managing our sophisticated regenerative grazing system.
Lucy enthusiastically took to her tasks from the very first day. She spent long hours on horseback inspecting pastures to ensure our cattle had consistent access to optimal grazing conditions, moving them between fresh paddocks, weighing them, and recording herd KPIs. When not handling cattle, Lucy also helped our team with other tasks, such as repairing fences or preparing formalities for livestock transportation.
Lucy approached every task with curiosity, commitment, and a steady hand. She quickly became a valued team member, adapting to the rhythm of the land (rise early, work hard throughout the day) and contributing meaningfully to our team’s work.
