The Land Group is launching in Portugal

The Land Group is launching in Portugal.
We have long believed that the regenerative farming model we refined in Uruguay and Paraguay can be successfully applied in other regions equally endowed with sun, grassland and cattle.
Following sustained interest from investors seeking to work with us in Portugal, we are pleased to confirm the launch of our operations in the country.
We aim to develop a 5,000-hectare regenerative farmland portfolio, based on long-term land ownership and an ethical, pasture-based beef production system. Our approach will integrate cow-calf operations with native agroforestry centred around cork oak and stone pine. We are acquiring poorly managed montado and pinhal manso farmland and transforming it through regenerative agricultural practices. These practices increase productivity, reduce dependence on external feed and inputs, improve animal welfare, restore soil health, strengthen soil structure and water retention, foster biodiversity, and sequester atmospheric carbon.
The result will be resilient farmland that generates strong financial returns and measurable environmental benefits - what we call The Land Group’s regenerative alpha.
We are already sourcing and conducting due diligence on properties for our initial investors. We will shortly embark on a roadshow across Europe and the United States to meet with other investors interested in helping us scaling regenerative agriculture in Portugal.
