We are crossing boarders to Spain

February 10, 2026

Next week The Land Group crosses another border!

We start our expansion into Spain with a clear focus: Bring Farming as a Service to Dehesa landowners, for cattle and sheep operations, who want both healthy balance sheets and healthy soils.

From the 26th until the 28th of February we will visit three Dehesa properties whose owners asked us to study asset management, full operations outsourcing and a roadmap to regenerative agriculture with precision grazing. Our team will walk the fields, map paddocks, analyse current livestock management and design grazing plans.

Our work in the Portuguese Montado, has already shown signs of this clear gap for a farming as a service model. When renting or selling the property, is not on the table. In Iberia many Montado and Dehesa estates now belong to heirs who live in cities, have other careers but still want to keep the family land. They often rent the farm out, which creates a structural conflict: tenants need to maximise short term margins above rent, so they tend to push stocking rates or tillage harder than the land can sustain. Owners then watch soil lose organic matter, trees age without regeneration and with it the depreciation of their farmland, while no one invests in long term improvements.

Our "Farming as a Service" lets owners keep total control of the asset, while our team of specialised operators runs day to day decisions, over multiple farms, with clear performance and regeneration targets. Our team of agronomists bring technical know how, process discipline and digital tools that small operators rarely access, from grazing planning to soil monitoring and financial reporting. We track innovations in regenerative practices and we integrate them into farm routines when data supports the change.

At The Land Group we treat every estate as a long term partnership. We design for sustainable profit per hectare and we work daily for soil health, tree regeneration and profitability to be in balance, year after year.

Together we cultivate sustainable growth 🌱
